Breadsong Bakery opened in 1994 and is an award-winning world class bakery. We take pride in the fact that all of our products are made from scratch using all natural ingredients and whenever possible local Massachusetts products.

Our mission is to provide our customers with the best products made from the best ingredients at a price that everyone can afford.

Specializing in crusty European style breads we bake baguettes, rustic Italian and scali, sandwich loaves, dinner rolls and focaccia. We are very proud of our Tea Breads, including 'The Boston Globe Pick of the Week' Pumpkin Date Bread, Banana bread, Irish soda bread, zucchini bread  and cranberry orange walnut bread.

If you come by our shop you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, hot or iced, with a muffin, scone or sticky bun. At lunch time we offer savory treats like lunch rolls (similar to a calzone only rolled rather than stuffed) in a variety of flavors including (but not limited to): pepperoni and cheese, Italian olive, spinach and feta. We also make a delicious Sicilian style pizza in a variety of flavors as well.

To top it all off for dessert, every day we bake a wide assortment of yummy cookies from chocolate chip with or with out walnuts, oatmeal raisin or chocolate chip to peanut butter and ginger molasses. We also make a delicious biscotti.

Breadsong Bakery has received numerous honors and awards, including, The Boston Globe "Hit of the Week" for our perennially-popular Pumpkin Bread, a Boston Herald profile and the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce People's Choice Award.

Breadsong Bakery founder Martha has worked in award-winning bakeries for over twenty years, where she has gained extensive experience in all aspects of performing in commercial kitchens; from operations, procedures and recipe development to customer relations.
